Dream Town Market and Freedom Harbor

I have spent the last 15 years playing with the Internet. And prior to that 25 years playing with computers. I call it play because for me that is exactly what it is. I’ve never found computers to be a challenge or frustration. That domain is reserved for people. If anything the machines have proven in my life to be exceptionally more reliable than humans.

10 years ago I began a site called Freedom Harbor. It’s purpose was to explore and promote technologies that support individual freedom instead of dependency and slavery. The trouble was the site went nowhere. I attribute that to two things. One, I am not someone with innate marketing skills. As I’ve suggested, I bleed ones and zeros. Not exactly a mindset for influencing an audience. And two, the lack of an audience. People just were not interested in the idea of the possibility of their materially affluent lives coming to an end.

Times have changed. While I waited for the audience to appear, I spent the past 10 years seriously and frustratingly studying marketing, at times much to my chagrin. So I’m taking what I’ve learned and I’m coming home to Freedom Harbor and another site, Dream Town Market. My posts here at to serve mind will be even more infrequent than they have been. At least, for the time being.

My online efforts are now going to be devoted mostly to Freedom Harbor and Dream Town Market. Dream Town Market will be exploring methods of delivering the stories and knowledge of individuals around the planet in ways that are effortless in their integration with social media technologies and at the same time easily and safely monetized for the “story teller’s” compensation.

I hope you stop by Dream Town Market and Freedom Harbor now and then to see how they can be of service to you. If in no other way then to at least spur your imagination and share your ideas.
