Social Media – Marketing Optimization

The marketing experiments possible nowadays with the sites and tools available can provide incredibly powerful and timely results.

I will be writing more about experiments using social media later this week, the first week of July, 2009.

First comment… that word “Optimization” in the title. Know what it means? It means TRUST. You can’t have anything marketing-wise working at “peak efficiency” unless your audience trusts you. So when I say “optimization”, what I am always thinking and trying to convey is there must be TRUST. If there isn’t, it’s all going down the toilet and you may as well watch a movie instead.

King FM Christmas Music

No one is more surprised than I the number of “Music” category posts I’m making. I thought it would be marketing, coding, and more marketing.

I promise there will be a marketing-related post tomorrow that discusses a site I just expanded on due to a recent increase in traffic, and the outstanding tools I’ve used to improve the quality of the site.

For now, I want to mention King FM in Seattle has “split” their feed into channels. You can now listen to a pleasant feed dedicated to Christmas music here: http://www.king.org/stream/listen.aspx

I lived in Seattle for 19 years. Met my wife there. Our two children were born there. So with such history, a part of me is stll there.
